Privacy policy
A plain-language overview of how information is handled when you use Penrose accountancy services and the client portal.
Information we handle
- •Account and contact information supplied during onboarding or sign-in.
- •Company, tax, payroll and bookkeeping information supplied for accountancy services.
- •Documents, requests, invoices and messages submitted through the portal.
- •Technical and security information needed to operate and protect the service.
How information is used
Information is used to provide accountancy services, operate the client portal, respond to requests, meet legal and regulatory obligations, protect accounts and improve service reliability.
Service providers
Penrose uses specialist technology providers to operate authentication, databases, email delivery and optional AI-supported workflows. Provider access should remain limited to the purpose for which the service is used and governed by the final supplier agreements.
Retention and security
Records are kept only for as long as required for the relevant service, professional obligations and applicable law. Access controls, protected routes and role-based workspaces are used today; the launch checklist includes private document migration, MFA, audit logging and a formal retention review.
Your rights
Depending on the circumstances, you may ask for access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection or portability of personal information. Requests can be sent to the contact address below and will be considered under applicable UK data-protection law.
